Jason - according to everything I've read about the new Magic Jack, there really are no red flags with the FTC. They are not doing anything illegal. The Magic Jack should be available in about 4 months. I bet they will make an absolute killing.

Wow! I actually have the original Magic Jack and it works pretty good. I can't believe they are going to be usable for cell phone now. I actually have ATT phone service. I'm wondering if the FTC will actually regulate this. The cell companies are going to be pissed!

The Jupiter Jack is does seem like a good invention, I mean at least into they come up with some sort of technology that will utilize the electronics in your car to act as the phone. I think they already have that technology, but it isn't equipped in many cars, but the price point is too high for the high tech items, so the Jupiter jack is a good alternative until the higher priced items come down!
